Drop in workshop - members who would like to learn how to use the OPWC Google Drive or OPWC Website - add meetings and events and make updates to the website pages - bring your laptop, tablet, or mobile phone.

Please bring a book you have read, one you are reading or one you would like to read for discussion.  There will be copies of “Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine” by Gail Honeyman for you to pick up to read for July’s meeting.  The book is described as “wacky, charming , hilarious and moving”.  Should be a good summer’s read.

If you know of anyone who is interested in the book club,  please invite them to attend. 

This meeting is for the new Executive Board to discuss and determine plans for the upcoming year.

Join us at the park to clean up and then enjoy a picnic and games with your new club friends, Come to learn about a new service club for young ladies aged 12-18, sponsored by the Orange Park Woman’s Club. Free to attend, bring a parent and bring a friend! Sign up for a summer project to earn community service hours.

The work begins for our main fundraisers - Rummage Sale (Sep), Theatre Night (Oct), and the Gala (Mar). We will discuss other fundraising ideas as well. Please join us if you would like to help out with any of these events, or if you have an idea for a new fundraising activity.

Community Service hours with the Little Women of Orange Park - read books to the animals at the shelter. We have also been collecting old blankets, towels, sheets, cleaning items, etc. as a donation.

Join our 12-18 year-old young ladies for a fun movie night, with popcorn, sodas, and baked spaghetti dinner. Bring an item to donate to the Safe Animal Shelter (such as an old towel or blanket). Meet the members of the Little Women of Orange Park, learn more about our new community service club, and sign up for one of our Summer Community Service Programs.

GFWC Florida District 4’s monthly meeting is being hosted by the Woman’s Club of Maclenney. Register by notifying the OPWC Treasurer. The cost is $20.00.

MEET AND GREET: 10 AM -10:30 AM MEETING 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM. Various clubs will be offering drawings and fundraisers. LUNCH will be provided

Members of the District 4 Hosting Committee (and any others who want to help) will meet in Charlotte Weaver Hall (CWH) to set up and decorate the tables for the District meeting on Friday.

On March 21st, our club is hosting the District 4 Meeting. The theme for the decorations is Celebrating the 5 CSP’s.  As such, we have at least 2 tables we need to provide the centerpieces for: focused on Arts & Culture. This meeting is to discuss ideas for our centerpieces.
